Just a few steps from the restaurant, The House Over‑By offers a serene retreat overlooking Loch Dunvegan, a place where time seems to slow and the island’s wilderness spills into every window. Guests sleep in beautifully appointed split‑level suites, each designed to capture the calm, coastal light and the uninterrupted views towards the Outer Hebrides.

The tranquillity of the location, sheep wandering past, the soft hush of the loch, star‑filled night skies free from light pollution give guests the rare sense of truly escaping the world.

Suites are in a separate building just next door, "Over-by" from the original restaurant croft with five split level and one designed for families with easy access and accessible bathroom facilities.  

Other in-room facilities include a smart TV and Bose speaker. Free high speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. There are tea and coffee making facilities in each room along with complimentary fresh milk and mineral water.

A selection of snacks and refreshments are available from your in room mini bar.

Private parking is provided for all guests in the courtyard and we have one electric car charging facility available.

Guests staying with us will automatically be reserved a table in the restaurant for dinner with alternative meal options available if dining for multiple nights.
